We manage the WFP Income Fund, WFP Income REIT, and WFP Opportunity Fund internal platforms, delivering capital solutions to borrowers and fixed income alternative investments for investors. 

As an immediate capital source, we’re able to provide fast and efficient small-balance bridge loans from $1 million to $10 million secured by real estate, including assisted living facilities, age-restricted facilities, independent living facilities, continuing care retirement communities, active adult communities, multifamily, and commercial real estate.

Don Pelgrim

Meet the CEO

Don Pelgrim is an owner and the CEO of Wilshire Finance Partners, overseeing the lending and investment strategies of the firm and its Funds. Mr. Pelgrim is an attorney and former chief-level banker with a depth of experience and expertise in real estate finance, the acquisition and disposition of real estate, portfolio management, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. 

As an attorney, Mr. Pelgrim practiced corporate real estate and real estate finance law at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, LLP and Rutan & Tucker, LLP. He started his banking career with the Dreyfus Corporation, worked as a loan officer with Hawthorne Savings, FSB, and was the Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary at Vineyard Bank, NA and Vineyard National Bancorp, as well as Opportunity Bank, NA and Opportunity Bancshares.

Mr. Pelgrim received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Hofstra University. He is an active member of the California Bar and has maintained his California Real Estate License since 1986.
