Don Pelgrim is an owner, director and the CEO of Wilshire Finance Partners, and the manager of the WFP Income Fund and WFP Opportunity Fund. He is also an attorney and has been a chief-level executive officer in the banking and financial services industry.
Founded in 2008, Wilshire Finance Partners is a portfolio lender specializing in small balance bridge loans from $1,000,000 to $7,000,000 secured by multifamily and commercial real estate in the United States. Through its management of the WFP Income Fund and WFP Opportunity Fund, Wilshire’s internal funding platform delivers fast, efficient and flexible bridge loan solutions with a high level of customer service.
As an attorney, Mr. Pelgrim practiced corporate, real estate and real estate finance law at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, LLP and Rutan & Tucker, LLP. During his banking career, Mr. Pelgrim served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at regional community banks.
He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles and his Bachelors of Business Administration from Hofstra University. He is an active member of the California Bar and has maintained his California Real Estate License since 1986. He has received regulatory “non-disapproval” to serve as a chief-level banking executive from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve (FRB), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS).
Kevin DeMeritt is the co-founder and President of Wilshire Finance Partners. Starting in 1987, Kevin worked as a successful international banking consultant, and today he oversees a hard-asset portfolio totaling over half a billion dollars at Lear Capital, LLC.
Mr. DeMeritt consistently demonstrates an exceptional ability to anticipate demographic and financial trends and help investors profit accordingly. This is particularly seen in his roles as senior partner in Sterling
Management, a firm specializing in managing unique cash flow investments for high net worth investors, and as the CEO of Lear Capital, one of the nation’s top precious metal investment houses.
Mr. DeMeritt regularly shares his views on talk radio and is a veteran of over 1,000 interviews, discussing the tangible asset market, the state of the stock market, international events and what may be coming down the economic road. Regarding the hard asset familiar to most Americans – real estate – Mr. DeMeritt established Keith Holdings in 2002, a privately held real estate investment company focusing on income producing rental properties.
