High yield investment

The investing of money or capital in order to gain profitable returns, as interest, income, or appreciation in value. Classifying an investment as high yield expresses the possibility of higher the normal return on income, or ROI. With potential for exaggeration, and in some cases fraud, a higher then normal level of examination and inquiry is necessary before investing.
